Around 200 legal and industry experts gathered at Raffles Jakarta on Friday – 5 July 2019 for The Singapore International Arbitration Centre Jakarta Conference 2019.
Exciting topics were discussed during the conference, including recent developments, principles, practices, and experiences in arbitration with specific focus placed on post M&A, as well as construction disputes.
During the occasion, Budidjaja International Lawyers’ Managing Partner, Tony Budidjaja, shared his insights and experiences as one of the panelists in the discussion of “The Use of Experts in The Assessment of Damages in Construction Disputes” along with Rob Palmer, Managing Partner of Ashurst LLP and James Taylor, Managing Partner of FTI Consulting.
The talk was moderated by Chong Yee Leong, Member of the SIAC Board of Directors and Partner of Allen & Gledhill LLP.
The conference has provided a great platform for legal and industry practitioners to exchange insights, useful tips, and best practices, especially in the assessment of damages quantification in international arbitration.
Our sincere thanks to SIAC and everyone who made this event a great success. We would also like to extend our gratitude to BIL members, clients, and colleagues who spared their valuable time to attend and support this event.
We look forward to your participation in our future events.
