#BILLawFact is back with the classification of manufacturing industry under the Regulation of the Minister of Industry No.64 / M-IND / PER / 7/2016 of 2016 (“Regulation”).
Under Article 3 of the Regulation, a manufacturing industry is classified as small if it has < IDR 1 billion investment (excluding land and building), with no more than 19 employees.
Under Article 4 of the Regulation, a manufacturing industry is classified as medium if it has more than IDR 1 billion investment (including land and building), with no more than 19 employees. A manufacturing industry can also be classified as medium if it has a maximum investment of IDR 15 billion, with a minimum of 20 employees.
Under Article 5 of the Regulation, a manufacturing industry is classified as large if it has over IDR 15 billion investment (including land and building), with a minimum of 20 employees.
