Manpower in Indonesia is regulated under Law No. 13 Year 2003 regarding Manpower (“Manpower Law”). To date, The Government of Indonesia is undergoing a process of drafting an Omnibus Bill on Job Creation (“Omnibus Bill”) which would amend provisions in the Manpower Law.
The Omnibus Bill was drafted with an aim to advance investment activities in Indonesia. We outline some contrast distinctions between the Manpower Law and the Omnibus Bill on today’s #BILLawFact.
