The aircraft accident of Sriwijaya Air Flight No. SJ-182 flying from Jakarta to Pontianak is the latest tragedy to have hit Indonesian aviation. Following the accident, the National Transportation Safety Committee (Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi Republik Indonesia/KNKT) issued its Preliminary Report No. KNKT.21.01.01.04 dated 9 February 2021.
