Based on Government Regulation No. 34 of 2021, foreign workers may occupy positions in Indonesia that could not be occupied by an Indonesian worker. Nevertheless the employer who wants to hire foreign worker shall obtain validation for its Foreign Workers Utilization Plan (Rencana Penggunaan Tenaga Kerja Asing/“RPTKA”).
