Throughout his career, Ricky has served in various capacities, including acting as APAC’s General Counsel for a renowned international sports channel, IT consultant and services, software licensing, and media and financial services providers, as well as digital enterprises. Prior to that, Ricky was also Senior Associate at a couple of large international law firms based in Jakarta, supervising intricate and complex in the Practice Group Corporate and Commercial.
His diverse background and deep understanding of complex legal matters has been instrumental in advising clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, inter alia, governance and compliance to contract negotiation, establishment of entities, labour-related advice, workplace policies, data protection, data privacy and cyber security, software licensing, and the cutting-edge legal issues in the Intellectual Property protection; which has made him a valuable addition to BIL.
