Tony Budidjaja is a highly experienced legal practitioner with nearly 30 years of practice, specializing in litigation, dispute resolution, and general corporate matters, including foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, construction, mining, oil and gas, and the broader energy and natural resources sectors. He has served as an arbitrator in various Indonesian business disputes and as an expert witness in numerous high-stakes litigation and arbitration proceedings involving Indonesian insurance and shipping laws. Tony is widely recognized for his ability to handle complex, high-profile matters for both international and domestic clients.

Tony is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is accredited as both a mediator and arbitrator by prominent institutions, including the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), and the Asia Pacific International Arbitration Center (APIAC). He is notably the first and only Indonesian advocate registered to appear before the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC).

Tony graduated from the University of Tarumanagara, Indonesia, with a Bachelor of Law degree in Business Law (1996) and from the University of Leiden, Netherlands, with a Master of Law degree in International Business Law (2001).
