On August 1, 2017, Budidjaja International Lawyers was honored to be invited to the inauguration event on the establishment of the Anti-Corruption School (SAKTI) by the Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW). BIL’s Senior Partner Mr. Tony Budidjaja, as one of the donators for the school, attended the event that was held at Balai Kartini, South Jakarta.
The event was also attended by prominent figures in corruption eradication, including former Commissioner of the Corruption Eradication Commission Busyro Muqoddas, who delivered a keynote speech during the event, and Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission Laode M. Syarif, who acts as one of the speakers during the event.
The school is intended to prepare young Indonesian anti-corruption generations with comprehensive understanding on anti-corruption instruments and corruption eradication practices in multiple sectors, and as a preventive step to prevent corruption from prevailing in Indonesia. The school was first initiated in 2013, 2015, and made its return now in 2017.
