Share

We are very excited to see the level of excitement and enthusiasm from the participants of Indonesian Maritime Law Forum (IMLF) discussion on 30 January 2020. As a new establishment in the maritime sector, IMLF is very proud that the premiere event with theme “Ship Arrest in Indonesia & Malaysia: Recent Issues and Development” gathered a lot of attention from legal practitioners and players from maritime and shipping industries.

Held at Trust Bar Building, more than 70 maritime practitioners from prominent law firms, insurance, ship owners, and representatives from the Sekretariat Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut and TNI AL attended the kick-off event of 2020 with exuberant energy.

The discussion provides insights and knowledge of the procedures, practice, and the legal ground for ship arrest in Indonesia and Malaysia from civil claim and criminal investigation’s point of view, as well as the government perspective to avoid the potential prolonged process of the ship arrest.

Thank you for all the speakers, sponsors, and all parties who have been working hard in making the event a successful and fruitful one.

Stay tuned for IMLF’s next announcement and looking forward to see more maritime’s enthusiasts in the next event!
