Job Descriptions:
°Assisting Senior Associate/Partner as well as delegating/distributing the work to the Junior Associates in preparing, finalizing legal documents/deliverables, and communicating to Clients on legal cases/matters being handled;
°Assisting Senior Associate/Partners in the meeting preparation with clients/external parties/authorities, which may include accompanying Senior Associate/Partner in attending hearings, meetings with Clients and/or external parties/authorities and making reports or minutes regarding the matters;
°Coordinating with the Client Relations for any arising special needs when handling legal cases/matters, for example: required assistance from professional vendors (notary, translator, investigator, appraiser, special counsel etc.) according to instructions from Senior Associate/Partner
°Carry out regulation updates in the internal archives on a regular basis;
°Actively maintain coordination with Senior Associate / Partner and team to prepare internal and/or external publications & events;
°Actively maintain coordination with Senior Associate and Partner for the implementation of the strategies and targets of each practice area.
Requirements:
°Holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from a reputable law school. A Master’s degree from an international university is a plus.
°Minimum 2 years of professional working experience handling legal matters in the practice area of Transportation (Shipping / Aviation) & International Trade; Litigation / Commercial Dispute Resolutions; Corporate (M&A, establishments, JV, corporate secretarial); and Employment. Experiences working in top law firm or in-house legal department of a multinational corporation within the shipping and/or maritime insurance sector is a plus.
°Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal communication is a must (other international languages is a plus, especially Mandarin).
°Excellent case management, strong leadership, and great interest to develop himself / herself as a professional – both in legal and commercial aspect.
