Budidjaja International Lawyers Welcomes New Members
As part of its commitment to become a trusted independent provider of one-stop and world class legal services, Budidjaja International Lawyers (“BIL”) is proud to welcome four of our newest professional members: Mr Anton Latief, Mr Mustafa Kocadag, Ms Jessica Surianto Putri, and Ms Adinda Utami Ramdhany.
Mr Latief joins BIL as a Senior Partner and will lead the Energy, and Banking and Finance practice groups. He has more than 16 years’ standing as a lawyer with extensive experience in the energy, banking, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. His experience includes private practice in a major law firm and leading the Legal Department of a French oil supermajor in Indonesia after several years of assignment in its Gas and Power division in Paris.
Some of his prominent works in energy sector include representing a multi-national oil and gas company in the development of both the Yamal LNG project in Russia and Shah Deniz Phase 2 project in Azerbaijan and in managing the PSC termination and transfer of operatorship process of one of Indonesia’s largest gas-producing block. Mr Latief speaks English, French and Indonesian. With his expertise, experiences and degrees in both Law and Economics (Accounting and MBA), BIL is confident that Mr Latief’s presence in the firm will allow us to cater to our clients’ needs of an effective and efficient legal assistance.
Mr Kocadag joins the firm as Special Counsel for the practice groups of Banking, Finance, and Capital Market; Employment and Industrial Relations; and Foreign Direct Investment and Joint Ventures. Mr Kocadag received his Bachelor of Law (LL. B) degree from Erasmus University in the Netherlands with a specialization in International Tax Law. Mr Kocadag has experiences for over 10 years expertise in areas concerning corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, secured transactions, financing and real estate transactions, dispute settlements, taxation, retail business, and labour and social security issues.
Meanwhile Ms Jessica, with her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, joins the firm as Client Relations Manager. Ms Jessica obtained her degree from the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Her experience working in Canada will hopefully be able to support the firm in building stronger relationship with clients.
In addition to Mr Latief, Mr Kocadag, and Ms Jessica, the firm has enlisted the help of Ms Adinda, who will be joining as Finance Officer to support our finance division in conducting daily operational activities. Ms Adinda studied Accounting at the Faculty of Economics in Trisakti University and had ample experience in working as accounting officer in numerous reputable companies.
We are confident that Mr Latief, Mr Kocadag, Ms Jessica, and Ms Adinda’s expertise and skills in their respective fields will enable BIL to render more high valued services to our esteemed clients.
