Tarigan is admitted to Indonesia Bar (Peradi). He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree S.H. (Cum Laude) from the Christian University of Indonesia, Master of Business Law (M.H) from the University of Indonesia and a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Handong International Law School, Republic of Korea. In addition, Tarigan holds a Bachelor of Economics (S.E.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Gadjah Mada University.

Prior to joining Keumseong Law LLC. in Seoul, Tarigan worked as a senior associate at one of leading law firms in Jakarta. Tarigan mainly works on Indonesian Foreign Investment and General Corporate issues. He has been providing the solution to his clients by analyzing and understanding various types of problem situations that companies go through in Indonesia, through knowledge gained from his experiences in the last 20 (twenty) years with Koreans. He not only advises from legal perspective but also from business view. He has been serving in various roles including as an in-house counsel, general manager, board of directors and Board of Commissioners in companies. He provides comprehensive and extensive legal advice on all aspects of company laws and investment laws.
