MAIN EXPERIENCE

Mr. Xu Yong Dong is the managing partner of Topwe Law Firm in China. Mr. Xu worked as a judge in an intermediate court before practicing. After practicing, he has been a legal consultant for dozens of administrative agencies including the Fujian Provincial People’s Government and is familiar with government legal affairs. He now has over 25 years of legal experience and is the founders of Topwe Law Firm.

In his mergers & acquisitions practice, Mr. Xu has acted as counsel to buyers and sellers alike in many major and complex acquisitions involving public and private Chinese companies operating across a wide range of sectors, including banking and power generation.

In the real property area, Mr. Xu works as legal consultants leading his team provide a full range of legal service for many well-known real estate companies including Vanke and China Resources.

Mr. Xu also has a wealth of practical experience in the prevention, resolution, litigation and arbitration of disputes.

On July 17, 2017, Mr. Xu was invited to participate in the “Foreigners Employment Policy and Procedures in Indonesia” forum which is jointly held by the Indonesian Economic Coordination Department and the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, the Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the China-Indonesia Business Center in Jakarta. Topwe is the only law firm in China to be invited to attend.
