On 31st August 2014, members of B&A participated in the Independence Day Run 2014 celebrating the 69th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. This marathon race is held annually by the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Indonesia. Around 45.000 Indonesian runners took part on this event, which was divided into 2 categories, the 8 km and 17 km.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono or SBY led the Independence Ceremony before the race and then inaugurated the race. Both of the 17 km and 8 km categories were started from the Presidential Palace and finished at the National Monument.
B&A always encourages its members to continuously participate in this kind of event to maintain the fitness and to have a balanced life.
